Canadian Ministries

The Denominational Office, Canada, coordinates the work of Christian Reformed Church agencies in Canada. It also oversees a variety of ministries that arise out of Canada’s unique experience and history.

These include:

• the Committee for Contact with the Government (CCG), which addresses various levels of government on social justice issues;
• urban Aboriginal Ministry Centres in Edmonton, Regina and Winnipeg, where holistic ministry takes place within the aboriginal communities;
• ecumenical involvement in a number of task forces under an umbrella known as "Kairos: Canadian Ecumenical Justice Initiatives." In addition, the CRC is involved with the Canadian Council of Churches and the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada. For more information, click here.
