Promoting Christian Education Globally

Purpose of the Project

The purpose of CRWM’s Promoting Christian Education Globally (PCEG) project is to work with our international partners to enhance the effectiveness of Christian day schooling (K-12), especially in under-served and under-educated areas in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

The PCEG project is focusing specifically on the equipping and training of Christian educators.  Many of these teachers have received little or no teacher training and are working in schools with very few material resources. Through our mission partners CRWM has connections to several hundred such schools and thousands of educators in need of such training.

"Educational Care" Program

Currently, PCEG is focusing on preparing "Educational Care: Caring For God's Children," a Christian educator learning program. The Educational Care program has the following primary characteristics: module formatted, on-the-job-learning, peer-learning oriented, inductive learning focused, practically based, Action Plan required, adaptable to local situations, world-view driven, Bible referenced and community oriented.

The Educational Care Program consists of six modules:

  1. The Biblical Worldview
  2. How Students Learn
  3. Developing Student Gifts
  4. Preventive and Corrective Discipline
  5. Leadership in School
  6. The Purpose and Value of Your School

According to a recent agreement with World Wide Christian Schools (WWCS), WWCS will be responsible for the distribution and training of trainers aspects of Educational Care.  You can connect with WWCS though their website: www.wwcs.org/teach
