Hurricanes 2008 US
Hurricane Ike hit Texas in September 2008 as the 3rd most destructive hurricane in US history. DRS has opened a reconstruction site in Galveston, Texas where volunteers will be helping the community rebuild homes damaged by this storm.

Spring Storms 2008
Flooding in the US Midwest was widespread in 2008. DRS is repairing damaged homes in Cedar Rapids, IA, and Munster, IN. Both communities were devastated by the flooding and there is much work to be done.

Spring Storms 2009
DRS has been sending out Rapid Response teams, Needs Assessment teams and Estimators to help in recovery efforts after flooding, ice storms and tornadoes damaged various parts of the US in 2009.
