Pandemic Preparedness
Individuals, Staff & Partners
Staff safety is a critical priority for the CRC. The situation is being monitored closely and appropriate responses will be communicated as, and if, they become necessary. In the interim all staff should be aware of basic hygiene measures that can be observed.
Adopting good health habits can be a critical step in preventing the spread of infectious diseases, such as influenza. http://www.cdc.gov/flu/protect/habits.htm?s_cid=swineFlu_outbreak_003.
The simple act of washing one’s hands regularly can greatly reduce the spread of infection. Information on hand washing techniques: http://www.health.gov.on.ca/english/public/program/pubhealth/handwashing/handwashing_mn.html.
