Plan a gift that will make a huge difference in the lives of people struggling through circumstances of injustice, poverty and disaster, while at the same time maximizing your tax advantages and taking care of your family’s needs.

You may also designate your gift to the Joseph Fund through which CRWRC will maximize your gift by investing it wisely and accumulating interest to be used for CRWRC programs over a period of seven years.

The Accident-Prone Farmer

A life insurance agent approached a farmer, trying to sell him a new policy. The agent asked if the farmer had ever had any accidents.

"Never", the farmer responds. "However, just recently my horse kicked me in the ribs. And a couple of years ago, I was out in my field and a rattlesnake bit my ankle."

"Wouldn't you call those accidents?" the puzzled inquired.

"Not at all," the farmer replied. "They both did it on purpose!".

Christians understand that nothing happens by accident because God is in control of everything. Yet the Bible teaches that making plans to protect ourselves and our loved ones from the adverse effects of disaster is wise. Proverbs 27:12, for example, says that “A prudent man foresees the evil, and hides himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.”
