Shine (iEmbraceAIDS.com)
It’s here, it’s live and it’s shining! iEmbraceAIDS.com is a new website created by CRWRC to provide young adults with a way to get involved in the rally to embrace people living with AIDS. These resources below can help you raise awareness of the site:
- Posters to promote the site
- Web button for your website
- Newsletter article for your publication
- Bracelets... these free, glow-in-the-dark bracelets are a great way to let others know that you want to do your part to bring AIDS out of the darkness. Order individually or by bags of 20.
- Gear - load up on iEmbraceAIDS gear and let your light shine on the crisis of AIDs around the world. For a small fee, you can purchase t-shirts, beanies, and light key chains.

- A Chair for Everyone - an activity that uses chairs to demonstrate the unequal distirbution of resources in our world
- Banana Splits - a 30-minute introduction to trade issues using bananas as an example of the way that world trade works to the disadvantage of poor farmers and their families.

- Enough for Everyone - This activity builds on the Food Distribution Exercise. In this game, students play a variation of musical chairs where they are encouraged to work together to share increasingly limited resources.
- Food Distribution Exercise - This activity and discussion guide provides a visual example of how the world’s food and wealth are distributed.
- Feeding Minds, Fighting Hunger (Secondary level) - a curriculum to teach about hunger and injustice.

- Health in the Village - a youth group activity that will illustrate the health issues that face many poor communities
- Hunger No More - a uniquely cooperative effort of 23 churches and organizations, to get people talking about issues related to hunger, poverty, and powerlessness. Click here for online content. Don’t be afraid to check out the "children’s resources", some of them would be great for youth and adults too. - Hungry Decisions - an interactive, simulation exercise that will help you understand the realities of poverty. Church World Service has now made this resource available online.
- Micah Challenge Toolkit for youth - a variety of resources to help you promote hunger awareness, justice, and the goals of the Micah Challenge
- The World at the Table - host a dinner for your youth group or church that no one will forget, by serving people food portions that illustrate the injustice of food/wealth distribution in our world.
- What is the tune we March to - a variant on "musical chairs" that helps to show the injustice of the distribution of wealth in our world
- World Volleyball - an activity that uses volleyball to illustrate the hurdles that developing countries must overcome to "compete" in our world
