Discovery Tours

What is a Discovery Tour?

A Discovery Tour is part of the CRCNA development education process and features the work of Christian Reformed World Missions and the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee and some of our partner ministries, giving participants an opportunity to learn the concept of "Walking with the Poor." To maximize the learning and give personal attention to each participant, this guided tour is limited to a small group of 8 -12 individuals. The experience will challenge and enrich you as you learn from our brothers and sisters in another culture. You will gain a personal perspective on missions and development work, which include programs in Christian education, literacy, church ministry development, small business development, health, food security and other areas. Join us and learn about how we can all work together side by side to shape a healthier, Christ-centered world!

CRWRC is a member of the Canadian Food Grains Bank (CFGB) which focuses on food security around the world. Its Disaster Team encourages participation on CFGB’s Food Study Tours for 2011 in order to learn more about how they function as an organization and also how they partner with local communities to end hunger around the world.
